Description

The Superintendent will coordinate the procurement and scheduled use of resources such as labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within budget, safety guidelines and quality standards. In addition, guide and mentor field staff and assist them in carrying out their duties. They also often serve as the primary interface between the costumer and the crew.

Requirements

Planning and executing all aspects of high volume construction duties to include:

Labor and subcontractor management
Prequalifying material deliveries on site
Client interaction with onsite construction managers
Managing safety records and enforcing safety regulations.
Tracking labor and identifying manpower for worker completion
Driving quality and efficiency in construction related field operations
Work with Project Managers during estimating and budget development
Prepare and manage project schedule
Identify resource and equipment needs for the Field Operations Specialist
Oversee and orchestrate day to day construction site activities
Be willing to work physically alongside Foreman and Laborers if needed
Transition project knowledge to Maintenance Team at Closeout
Mentor and train team for skill development am increased responsibility
Demonstrate daily commitment to excellence
Proactively establish and support a positive commitment to safety on job site

Responsibilities

A minimum of 3 years as a manger in commercial install landscape
3+ year safe driving experience
Organization and time management skills
Able to multitask in fast paced environment
OSHA 30 is a plus
